How to reach us

By car

The center of Florence is a limited traffic zone (ZTL), whose entrance is regulated by 24 hours’ cameras. As a hotel, our guests are only entitled to 1 admission for the ARRIVAL and 1 admission for the DEPARTURE. Any other access to the ZTL is prohibited. In order to avoid fines, at the time of arrival please inform the reception of your license plate and the time of entry in ZTL for notification of arrival to the municipal police. The same procedure must be followed at the time of departure. Our company declines any responsibility for any omissions or negligence.

Coming from Rome (south):Take motorway exit FIRENZE SUD

Follow the directions “Viali di Circonvallazione” until you reach Piazza della Libertà.
Turn in Via Cavour to the old TOWN and turn right at the first Street (Via Sant’Anna).
Turn right at the stop in Via San Gallo and then first left on Via delle Mantellate.
Then turn first left into Via Zara and take the second right into Via Bonifacio Lupi.
Find Residenza Johanna I at number 14.

Coming from Milan (north): Take Highway exit FIRENZE NORD

Follow the indications “Viali di Circonvallazione” until you reach Piazza della Libertà.
Turn in Via Cavour to the old TOWN and turn right at the first (Via Sant’Anna).
Turn right at the stop in Via San Gallo and then first left into Via delle Mantellate.
Then turn first left into Via Zara and take the second right into Via Bonifacio Lupi.
Find Residenza Johanna I at number 14.

By train

Residenza Johanna is not far from the central station Santa Maria Novella and you can reach it in 10-15 minutes by foot, if you do not have heavy luggage, taking Via Nazionale, Piazza Indipendenza, Via Santa Caterina d’Alessandria, Via Bonifacio Lupi. The taxi can be taken at the main exit of the station at an indicative cost of 10-15 euros.

By plane

Florence Peretola Airport, Amerigo Vespucci is 15 km away and about 20 minutes by car from us. Upon exiting the airport, you can take the taxi at an indicative cost of Euro 25.00 or use the new T2 Tramway https://www.gestramvia.com/orari and reach the Santa Maria Novella train station in about 20 minutes.
